פְּקַקch. sam( Hithpa. הִתְפַּקֵּק, Nithpa. נִתְפַּקֵּק to be shaken, loosened), 1) to split, make a breach. Y.Snh.II, 20b כד תִּיפּוֹק (not כל), v. פִּקְפּוּקְתָּא. 2) to stop. Targ. 2 Chr. 32:30.Y.Ter.VIII, 45d פָּקֵיק לה ומכסי לה stops the bottle and covers it. Ithpe. אִתְפְּקַק 1) to be split, chipped off. Targ. Job 30:17 מִתְפַּקְּקִין מיני ed. Lag. are chipped off me (h. text נקר), v. פַּקְפֵּק. 2) to be stopped. Targ. Ps. 31:19.
